“All of the public domain works—that is, ones no longer restricted under copyright law—are now available for high resolution download from the NYPL. Not only that, but there’s an awesome tool from Brian Foo for NYPL Labs called “Visualize the Public Domain” which lets you toggle between images sorted by century, genre, collection, and (my personal favorite) color.”
Here are the handy instructions provided by Ricoh to prep the 5th color varnish for our new Pro C7100 Digital Color Printer: http://flashcolorimaging.com/downloads/RICOH_5th_Color_Guide_Clear_Illustrator.pdf. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

We are thrilled to be right around the corner from Gumenick’s new Libbie Mill Development. We walked over the other evening from our shop and saw the lovely new landscaping and evening lighting for the first time. If you haven’t visited Libbie Mill yet, check it out! And while you’re in the neighborhood, stop in and say “hi” to us at Flash Color Imaging on Spencer Road!
Since CS6, Adobe InDesign has defaulted to LAB color instead of CMYK when creating new swatches. This can create problems if you want to use a legacy workflow for a particular job, or if your customers are providing files based on the older model.
To make the older CMYK libraries available in InDesign, download them from this link: kevlaur.net/adobe/LegacyPantone.zip. Unzip the file and add them to /Applications/Adobe InDesign CC 2015/Presets/Swatch Libraries (MAC). They will appear at the bottom of the Color Mode listbox.
